Every water that surrounds Stockholm is deep frozen. If you have ever been to Stockholm you know that means something. Stockholm is built on 14 main islands and thousands of little islands around. It’s kind of fun because everyone is going iceskating or just taking a walk on the water. Like we did. The music is by “Stella“, a band from Hamburg. I guess boys hate Elena’s voice because it is full of woman’s hectic and so overloaded. I just love it! If you have Spotify just search for “Stella – Shoes“. Sorry not for Germany!
A while ago, Katharina of “I♥PONYS” asked me, if I could help her with something. And of course, since I had some time I support another blogger. I’m so happy that the German blogger-scene is supporting eachother. Let me tell you, that is not that usal everywhere. The point is, if we support eachother in a way we are becoming such a bigger lobby and becoming more serious than before. I like the fact that the german bloggers link other bloggers and meet as often as possible. Like I met Katharina when she was in Stockholm. So yesterday I got a big letter from her with this two bags and a postcard from Hamburg. Thank you!!! One bag is from the “Blonde Magazine” where she is working since a while. Hopefully you will show your face next time at the Stockholm Fashion Week. The chair next to us at the “Minimarket Show” was reserved for “Blonde Mag” This time someone else that we also know sat on your seat. It was a pleasure to help you. If I have some time, it is no problem. Please don’t be mad at me, if I say no, because then it is for a reason. And belive me, I’m not really good in saying no. I have a fulltime job, a blog, trying to learn swedish… What I really want to say is, help eachother and you support yourself in any way!
Maybe it dosn’t look like spring because of all the ice and snow, but I can feel it! Spring is coming! The days are getting lighter and the sun warms you a bit. Hope it is getting really warm soon. Then I can finally take my bike to work and I don’t need to walk all the way.
This “Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair” dress has been following me for days. I see it where ever I am. Like today when I was in the city and it was hanging in a window. A few days ago I also saw it at “Styleserver“. The shape and the silk, just nice!
Fashion Week is over and we are back to normal life. Normal things are popping up like this: We loved to go on with our “Hisses”, but it is over and we have no Hiss in our new house. Those are our last memories….
As I wrote in the beginng, Philipp and I went to just to a few shows this week because we both had to work a lot. We just picked the ones we really wanted to see. “Minimarket” was our favorite and as expected really colorful and bright! Nobody uses clean cuts, patterns and bright colors in such a good way. Needless to say the shoes are a class of it’s own! Let’s buy some, like my colleague last week. The right shoes make your life so much better! Sorry for the unsharp pictures, the flashlight was making strange things the whole week. I guess it’s time for a new one. Next to us was a blogger from Norway, Vanillascented. Sympatisch.
The atmosphere at the “Odeur” show yesterday was sooo my type. Slow minimalistic music, minimalistic moves, no extras, just the “Odeur” stuff. Totally wearable and so Stockholm like. I had my colleagues in mind the whole time cause they would totally fit in that stuff. Please buyers, go for it. There is just one little point: Next time better shoes please. I don’t wanna see “Vagabondd” on a Fashion show like this.
“Beckmans” is a Stockholm based Design-High-School that had a show yesterday. Nine students were showing their stuff. I like the kind of backbone leather jacket and the three other jackets of Maria Jenjé Lundqvist. The woman next to me said something like: “I just saw the new “Christian Lacroix” in Alexander Krantz.” Hm, I don’t know. Make up your own mind on the “Backmans XV – Mircrosite“.
I don’t know what the most exciting moment at the “Cheap Monday Show” was. The school-travel like busride to the middle of nowhere with a bunch of fashion-addicts, standing with 400 other people in front of the location, to see all the bloggers from all over the world like “Anywho“, the 3 girls from denmark which where sitting behind us, “Susie Bubble” or all the swedish ones on the other side. Hard to say, but it was a funny evening with a lot of swedish teenagers. See all the “Cheap Monday show pictures on the website.
I’m just in from a few show and will have to prepare some stuff. Here is the first look to the other side of my seat of the “Odeur-Show“. Nahhh, do you recognize anyone?
Yesterday I was wearing a “Cos Dress” and some “Underground Creepers“. Yes, of course it is Fashion Week and normally is everyone is wearing some really nice shoes. The weather is so bad and we had to walk a while to the “Cheap Monday Show” so I put one some walking shoes. The place was like little Mekka. You could see so many fashion pilgrims walking down that road in the habour area. Later more.
“Stockholm Fashion Week by Berns” is starting and I’m post some danish Designer, that’s sooo buuuuh, I know. I really need to, because “Designers Remix Collection” do some nice work there. I don’t know which is the northern fashion captial. Some say Stockholm, some say Copenhagen. I would say: both are quite nice in their own way. So let’s go and see what Stockholm is offering this week.
Tomorrow the “Stockholm Fashion Week by Berns” starts and we are going to see a few shows. Hopefully we have enough time to see a lot, because we both have to work next week. We’ll see as much as possible! I can’t wait to see the outfits of all the visitors, it’s still -14 up to -22 everyday and also snowing. But I’m sure that swedish people have a plan b for weather like this. So may be we will see you at shows like Minimarket, Cheap Monday, Odeur, Beckmans XV,…
Yesterday, I was at the “Acne Store” on Södermalm to try on the striped and really long dress as well as have a look at the leather fringe jacket that I never could buy because it is too expensive. The dress wasn’t in, but the Leo Desert Boots of the Pop Collection. Unfortunately not in my size, schnief. The funny thing is, I’ve been stareing at them since the first post about the Acne Pop Collection. Then yesterday, I also read a short interview with the Creative Director of Acne, Jonny Johansson, in the “Nylon Magazine“. The question was: The one thing people will go mad for? The answer: The Leopard-Hair shoes. Oh, he is sooo right!!!! I will go mad for them.
Sometimes, not very often, but sometimes, I’m really up with sneakers. I prefer “Nike” but it could also be something else like the Married to the mob x Lacoste Hironia collabo. You’ll find the launch-party pictures on the MOB-Blog. The edgy party pictures are made by “brookenipar” .They come out in february. If someone sees them in Europe, please let me know!
Edit: Will be at available at “Colette“.
Ok ok, it seems like we also have to answer the questions…

We checked out our neighborhood, Södermalm. It’s a really nice area to live. You normally don’t see the part we are live in when you are a visitor, but it is a really nice with many little shops and cafes. Sweden is not allways just red houses! Here you see Part I. Part II is coming soon.
Do you know what!? We are all reading and reading and reading blogs and about the fashion stuff that all the bloggers are writing about. What I’m really missing are some keynotes about a few people. Stuff like favorite band, favorite city, favorite book etc. Just some normal stuff. We know you all so well but in another way not so much at all. We know what you look like, what you did last sunday and what you bought. It feels a little bit like we are friends, but we don’t know all the little details about you. So we decided to start a tagging round! Isn’t that fun!?
I hope everyone that we are going to tag knows how it works. We write some questions and tag some people. Those people then publish the answers on their blog and tag a few other people. Here are our choosen ones: Cats&Dogs,Lost in Fashion, Vintage jesus fashion, Codyjune, Lalila, Hübsch’ dich auf, Fashion Flash, Linn Gustafsson, Wir sind Leoparden, Tea & Twigs and “The F Blog.

Favorite Moment Ever:
“Jeffrey Campbell” is making my life not easy. While he is copying shoes like hell, he also produces really nice graphic stuff like the new lookbook. Say what you want and I’m also not sure how to handle “Jeffrey Campbell” but the lookbook is soooo my type. He knows how to make you love him and definitely which shoes to copy. What to change on a nice shoe so it is even nicer at the end. I mean, that’s also something
Shall I tell you how to keep warm those days? Just wear “Wood Wood” like my grey dress with this long zipper on the back. That’s so warm. I’m becoming a huge fan of them. It is nothing spectacular but I love the designs. I also have a long cardigan from “WoodWood”. You remember? I ordered it at “Frontline“? See the post here. This one is also from “Frontline” because they are having the best prices for stuff like this.
(Dress – Wood Wood, Gloves – Nixon, Watch – Casio, Shoes – Weekday)
I am totally in love with wild and bright patterns at the moment. That’s the reason way I’m coming up with this Sass & Bide stuff! The Body is a dream and I would combine it with just about everything.
These days “Best Behavior” from Denmark came up with a sneak preview of their AW 2010 collection. It is full of bright colors and a lot of edgy cuts. The whole collection is totally what I like. I would love to wear the vest and the winter coat next winter. Looks cozy and warm, just what I need right now!
Do you remember my “Stolen Girlfriends Club – Lookbook” post? There was this black mesh prowler dress with the neon zipper on the back. Oh isn’t it nice? It’s so sad that it isn’t that easy to get in europe. I saw it at “I don’t like Mondays“.
Lovely Dotti from Dottis Dots asked as to put on our pyjamas. The problem is, we don’t really have’em, since we don’t use them. But I got the funny sleeping shirt as a present. I think, but I’m not sure, that is a typical sweden gift. You will find it in Gamla Stan there all the souvenier shops are. So we picked those pictures that we did a while ago in our so beloved appartment in Hamburg. We miss it!
Everywhere the spring stuff is popping up. Shit, I’m still stuck into winter. I can’t wait to wear something normal. Maybe some of those nice things from “Opening Ceremony“. I can totaly see me in one of those jumpsuits and shoes. Oh shit, I’m lost in my dreams but unfortunately I’m not that of rich. How can this nice Rodarte t-shirt cost $105.00? But maybe I have enough money for a hat for Nikita.
I don’t let me dictate what to wear! My summer shoes need some fresh air and see the world. I will freaze like hell but I don’t give a shit! When we were in Cologne I jumped into “Cos“. There is no Germany visit without “Cos“. There I found this nice striped something and I totaly like it. The socks that I’m wearing, Philipp catched on carneval a few years ago in Bonn. So funny, it came down from the wagon instead of Kammelle (Carneval Sweets). He also catched an elk-teddy. Strange thing.
(Top – Cos, Beanie – Cleptomanicx, Jeans – Cheap Monday, Shoes – Bass)
Yesterday, I was writing about the styling of the “Cheap Monday Modelshoots“. Let’s say, there are many ways to style something. I found a good example for it. Have a look at this nice “Cheap Monday Dress” at “I don’t like Mondays“. 1+ for the different ways of wearing it! I like the fact that the model is wearing no shoes.
The first stuff of “Cheap Monday” is out now. I do like a few things, some dresses and some the really grown-up-looking stuff. It’s no secret that I love “Cheap Monday” and “Weekday“, BUT it seems to be that I’m not the target group anymore. What happend to the new model!? Those two picture are, let’s say, ok. But have a look at the other pictures on the website. Sorry, I’m not 14 anymore I want some older models back and the next time I want to be the stylist. Have a look here and then please write an email to them, that you want me to be the next stylist!
Since a few months now, I’m having the first picture of the “Arnsdorf Lookbook” on my desktop. My desktop is a special place for all the really nice pictures and my favorite outfits. It’s one of my Top5! The color of the blouse and the high waist jeans in that color. Just perfect! The whole collection is really my type. I would wear every single item. I’m in love. May be my next trip will be to Australia
On the first birthday of our blog two weeks ago, we started the Link Exchange Round Part III. You will find the nice result on our Link-Page. There is still some space in our link-list. Just write a comment or if you linked us and we didn’t get it, just let us know. I would love to link you back.
Philipp and I were in Cologne, Germany this week. We both lived there for a while. It was really strange to be back. Before I moved from Hamburg to Cologne I was thought people with permanent wave and some kind of really funny typical 80ies haircuts didn’t exist no more. Just go to Cologne There you will find everything
As I was at the airport, I got the first strange views about my shoes and the first really funny comments about my shoes. Who cares about comments from people which are looking like “Atze Schröder“? Love it and their unique style!
(Shoes – Underground, Skirt – Cheap Monday, Pullover – Carin Wester for Weekday, Blazer – H&M Trend, Watch – Cheapo)
“CTRL” was a long time my favorite streetwear label from Scandinavia. The finnish Label changed a bit it’s face and turned from kind of dirty edgy-looking into really clean swedish-looking. I’m not so sure if I like it. But what I do like are the shoes on the secound picture. We will see if I gonna like it in summer when it is coming out. The dotted stuff and the shirt with this kind of heart thing could be interesting.
Wishlist from this week is coming fromYouheshe. The Stine Goya stuff is amazing and they have sale at the moment! I’m still looking for a nice bag. I can’t find one that I really really love.
I really love this place in Stockholm, Gärdet. It’s a huge park in the middle of Stockholm with a lot of dog-people during the weekend. Of course Nikita is always excited when we go there especially when meeting here big black wolf-friends. This time it’s -22 degrees though and a really strong breeze. I hope you like the video. And by the way, the music is from “Where the wild things are”. Go and watch it if you can! The dogs in the beginning really remind me of the monsters…
Think I’m creazy, but I love my new white “Creepers from Underground“! I got an email at work that I have a paket to pick up. I was so excited. When I showed my new shoes to my colleagues they said: Oh they are so you! Hm, is that a good sign? Yeah I think so, because they fit really good and I love them and I can’t wait to wear them.
With -20 outside temperature there are not so many possibilities to spend a sunday. So we went into the Östasiatiska Museet because there was the “Kimono Fusion exhibition” that featured “Shin Tanaka“. Nice to see some streetart! It was just a really small part where you could find the street-origami but better than nothing. You can download your own here. They are so so so cute! Don’t miss this!
This is the third and last part of our Hamburg trip a few days ago. Flying with Ryan-Air is always a pleasure, so friendly and comfortable!;-) Hope you enjoy the video!
