Yesterday, “Minimarket” presented their video lookbook on “Rodeo“. I like this trend to show a video instead of only using pictures!

The first time in 3 months with more than -5!!!!! I love it and hope it will be like this for a while.

Oh yes, “Modekungen” is doing it well. Transparent, nude tones, pastell and prints. So bad that I still have to save all my money for our vacation.

It is still cold like -10, but the sun is coming up a bit. That’s so nice! I thought the winter would stay forever. It was a bit like “The day after tomorrow”. But we see a light at the end of the tunnel!

I know, we are not the best bloggers at the moment as Teresa recorgnized. I will post some this weekend, that’s for sure. But it’s friday again and may be we should pick up a new friday tradition. How about eBay-Friday? We will see. This friday, it is “Maki Maki Day“.

Favorite swedish cutie monster “Monki” shows its interpretation of spring in the sweatest way. Even Philipp said that this is really cute.
So, now we know! Stripes, nude tones, pastell and nylon can’t be wrong this year. Thank you for this so nice and cute demonstration! We love you “Monki“. You are huge, but still kind of independent.

Miss swedish designer-queen “Carin Wester” is launching her SS210 those days. This time I have an eye on the shoes. They look like the “Opening Ceremony shoes“. Doesn’t matter to me, they both look nice and the clothes!? Clean and nice cuts like allways! She can’t do it wrong. I don’t think that’s possible.

“Motel” is one of the brands I always have an eye on. They come up with new stuff really often, sometimes a few times a season. Maybe you know “Motel” from “Asos” or “Topshop“. The last months they get more and more popular in the states as well. I think that’s the reason why they produced such a nice lookbook. I hope it works! Cross the fingers for them!
EDIT: If you wish to order anything on the “Motel Webshop“, use the discount code “youneak” and get 15% off! Thank you, Motel!

Okay okay, I see you also like digging at eBay. The stats of the eBay postings told me this little secret. Then let me indroduce my favorite new eBayer “Meat Market“. I’m so in love with this polka dot dress and the Chanel two-tone sunglases. OHHH I LOVE THEM!!!!! But ok, back to “Meat Market“. Great styling and some really nice items. You can follow them on “Facebook“, “Twitter” and “Myspace“. Tzzzz all those social media things. I’m getting old. Meat Market, where is your blog!?

Friday is eBay-day, because “Liebe Marlene” is updating her shop on thursdays. For european people, kind of friday because of the time-shift.
Some of you, the german part, may think it is a german shop, but “Liebe Marlene” is american. She is also writing a blog with the same name. I like her american vintage style. Everything looks pure and authentic about her. I like if someone like her is so detailed about their style! It can be any style but you need to feel that it is real and I can feel “Liebe Marlene“. That not so often and outstanding to me.

Swedish invasion today, like always.
The last lookbook of “Permanent Vacation” last summer was really everywhere to see. No blog without the romanic looking pictures of “Permanent Vacation“. This year they follow their line and come out with a high-quality lookbook but still in a romanic way. Last summer we met Emma Harling at a “Showroom evening” where she was presenting her stuff. A really nice person.

“Saga Lova” had a photo exhibition yesterday and a little movie was shown. Both are showing the new A/W collection 2010-2011. I’m wondering if the little movie is online somewhere, it would be nice to see it again.

“Patouf” was showing the new collection for A/W 2010 – 2011 as well. I have to say that I saw the logo before but I didn’t see anything from the collections. Really wearable stuff. On the website they say: Creating feminine chic yet with a girly touch. That’s really on point. I also like the SS Collection 2010 that you find on the website.

The last years summer, Philipp and I went to the “Saga Lova Show” and we both really liked it. May be it was not so Hope, not so Acne, not so Filippa K, but still swedish in a way. “Saga Lova” is one of those swedish labels that are going their own way. For me personally, always a highlight if someone tries to do something special and not step into anyone elses footsteps. I like! I also like the coat and that the designer did not use real fur! You need to know: Swedish people like real fur! I hate it, even if it is vintage. So if you have some time, have a look at the “Saga Lova website“.

Today, “SpaltPr” opened the doors for a pressday with the new A/W 2010-2011 collections of “Saga Lova“, “Matilda Wenelboe“, “Patouf” and “Ulrika Sandström“. At the moment I have really a lot to do at work so that nearly couldn’t make it. Yeah but somehow I always find 5 minutes somewhere. ![]()
So work was calling and I had to hurry up. All the designers where inhouse and it was a nice atmosphere. It was sad that I didn’t have some more time to spend to ask “Ulrika Standström” some things about her collections. I was kind of surpised about it, but in a good why! I’m a huge fan of her and I like her feminine style. The new collection looks really London-Like with a schwedish edgy kind look. Clean cuts and great materials. I like and fell in love with a jumpsuite again. Later more about the other designers and some pictures.

I can’t stop looking at eBay.
So if we are talking about eBay and Vintage stuff, we have to talk about “American Vintage“. I think it is the blogger’s favorite eBay store. It is full of nice and good sorted stuff for both girls and BOYS! I can’t say which one my favorite dress or my favorite shoes are. Everything looks good in a way. Shit, that’s so bad. I want really everything. They are presenting it in a too good way. The styling really is an eyechatcher!

Sometimes I like digging on eBay and then I can’t stop searching. Since a year I’m following “Noirhoio Vintage“. I like her style and the stuff that she is selling. “Vintage is the new Black” is one of my favorite blogs that belongs to Noirhoio Vintage.

Since the “Weekday Pressday” last summer I was waiting for the release day of the transparent shoes. Yesterday was the day as I found them in the Weekday Shop on Södermalm. Ok, it is still too cold but the day will come and then I will be the happiest person on the road.
Even Philipp likes them and it’s not so often that he is up with something that is not a sneaker.
I also like the transparent shirt and the fringe jacket. Looks a bit like the Acne fringe jacket just in a cheaper version.

I like this moment when the season’s are changing and the shops fill up the stores with new stuff! The new season feels as reachable as spring right now. “Topshop” has been pushing in the new collections since a few weeks and I like what I see. When the new seasons start I always have some last season favorites left and I’m sad that I didn’t buy them. Even when they are on sale, because I will spend all my money for new stuff. ![]()
PS: I’m still searching for a bag

As I wrote in the beginng, Philipp and I went to just to a few shows this week because we both had to work a lot. We just picked the ones we really wanted to see. “Minimarket” was our favorite and as expected really colorful and bright! Nobody uses clean cuts, patterns and bright colors in such a good way. Needless to say the shoes are a class of it’s own! Let’s buy some, like my colleague last week. The right shoes make your life so much better! Sorry for the unsharp pictures, the flashlight was making strange things the whole week. I guess it’s time for a new one. Next to us was a blogger from Norway, Vanillascented. Sympatisch.

“Beckmans” is a Stockholm based Design-High-School that had a show yesterday. Nine students were showing their stuff. I like the kind of backbone leather jacket and the three other jackets of Maria Jenjé Lundqvist. The woman next to me said something like: “I just saw the new “Christian Lacroix” in Alexander Krantz.” Hm, I don’t know. Make up your own mind on the “Backmans XV – Mircrosite“.

I don’t know what the most exciting moment at the “Cheap Monday Show” was. The school-travel like busride to the middle of nowhere with a bunch of fashion-addicts, standing with 400 other people in front of the location, to see all the bloggers from all over the world like “Anywho“, the 3 girls from denmark which where sitting behind us, “Susie Bubble” or all the swedish ones on the other side. Hard to say, but it was a funny evening with a lot of swedish teenagers. See all the “Cheap Monday show pictures on the website.

I’m just in from a few show and will have to prepare some stuff. Here is the first look to the other side of my seat of the “Odeur-Show“. Nahhh, do you recognize anyone?

Yesterday I was wearing a “Cos Dress” and some “Underground Creepers“. Yes, of course it is Fashion Week and normally is everyone is wearing some really nice shoes. The weather is so bad and we had to walk a while to the “Cheap Monday Show” so I put one some walking shoes. The place was like little Mekka. You could see so many fashion pilgrims walking down that road in the habour area. Later more.

“Stockholm Fashion Week by Berns” is starting and I’m post some danish Designer, that’s sooo buuuuh, I know. I really need to, because “Designers Remix Collection” do some nice work there. I don’t know which is the northern fashion captial. Some say Stockholm, some say Copenhagen. I would say: both are quite nice in their own way. So let’s go and see what Stockholm is offering this week.

Tomorrow the “Stockholm Fashion Week by Berns” starts and we are going to see a few shows. Hopefully we have enough time to see a lot, because we both have to work next week. We’ll see as much as possible! I can’t wait to see the outfits of all the visitors, it’s still -14 up to -22 everyday and also snowing.
But I’m sure that swedish people have a plan b for weather like this. So may be we will see you at shows like Minimarket, Cheap Monday, Odeur, Beckmans XV,…

Yesterday, I was at the “Acne Store” on Södermalm to try on the striped and really long dress as well as have a look at the leather fringe jacket that I never could buy because it is too expensive.
The dress wasn’t in, but the Leo Desert Boots of the Pop Collection. Unfortunately not in my size, schnief. The funny thing is, I’ve been stareing at them since the first post about the Acne Pop Collection. Then yesterday, I also read a short interview with the Creative Director of Acne, Jonny Johansson, in the “Nylon Magazine“. The question was: The one thing people will go mad for? The answer: The Leopard-Hair shoes. Oh, he is sooo right!!!! I will go mad for them.

Shall I tell you how to keep warm those days? Just wear “Wood Wood” like my grey dress with this long zipper on the back. That’s so warm. I’m becoming a huge fan of them. It is nothing spectacular but I love the designs. I also have a long cardigan from “WoodWood”. You remember? I ordered it at “Frontline“? See the post here. This one is also from “Frontline” because they are having the best prices for stuff like this.

These days “Best Behavior” from Denmark came up with a sneak preview of their AW 2010 collection. It is full of bright colors and a lot of edgy cuts. The whole collection is totally what I like. I would love to wear the vest and the winter coat next winter. Looks cozy and warm, just what I need right now!

Everywhere the spring stuff is popping up. Shit, I’m still stuck into winter. I can’t wait to wear something normal. Maybe some of those nice things from “Opening Ceremony“. I can totaly see me in one of those jumpsuits and shoes. Oh shit, I’m lost in my dreams but unfortunately I’m not that of rich.
How can this nice Rodarte t-shirt cost $105.00? But maybe I have enough money for a hat for Nikita.

I don’t let me dictate what to wear! My summer shoes need some fresh air and see the world. I will freaze like hell but I don’t give a shit!
When we were in Cologne I jumped into “Cos“. There is no Germany visit without “Cos“.
There I found this nice striped something and I totaly like it. The socks that I’m wearing, Philipp catched on carneval a few years ago in Bonn. So funny, it came down from the wagon instead of Kammelle (Carneval Sweets). He also catched an elk-teddy.
Strange thing.

Yesterday, I was writing about the styling of the “Cheap Monday Modelshoots“. Let’s say, there are many ways to style something. I found a good example for it. Have a look at this nice “Cheap Monday Dress” at “I don’t like Mondays“. 1+ for the different ways of wearing it! I like the fact that the model is wearing no shoes.

The first stuff of “Cheap Monday” is out now. I do like a few things, some dresses and some the really grown-up-looking stuff. It’s no secret that I love “Cheap Monday” and “Weekday“, BUT it seems to be that I’m not the target group anymore.
What happend to the new model!? Those two picture are, let’s say, ok. But have a look at the other pictures on the website. Sorry, I’m not 14 anymore
I want some older models back and the next time I want to be the stylist.
Have a look here and then please write an email to them, that you want me to be the next stylist!

Since a few months now, I’m having the first picture of the “Arnsdorf Lookbook” on my desktop. My desktop is a special place for all the really nice pictures and my favorite outfits. It’s one of my Top5! The color of the blouse and the high waist jeans in that color. Just perfect! The whole collection is really my type. I would wear every single item. I’m in love. May be my next trip will be to Australia

Philipp and I were in Cologne, Germany this week. We both lived there for a while. It was really strange to be back. Before I moved from Hamburg to Cologne I was thought people with permanent wave and some kind of really funny typical 80ies haircuts didn’t exist no more. Just go to Cologne
There you will find everything ![]()
As I was at the airport, I got the first strange views about my shoes and the first really funny comments about my shoes. Who cares about comments from people which are looking like “Atze Schröder“?
Love it and their unique style!

“CTRL” was a long time my favorite streetwear label from Scandinavia. The finnish Label changed a bit it’s face and turned from kind of dirty edgy-looking into really clean swedish-looking. I’m not so sure if I like it. But what I do like are the shoes on the secound picture. We will see if I gonna like it in summer when it is coming out. The dotted stuff and the shirt with this kind of heart thing could be interesting.
