Some nice stuff coming from Supreme these days. Besides the styles, I also love the fact that they use a more mature model. I believe it underlines their supremacy as a brand. I will definitely be on the look-out for this stuff.

Our Legacy Lookbook
Stockholm based Our Legacy just released their new lookbook for the spring/summer-season 2011. They come in a “coke-like” eighties style that I really like. Some of the stuff might even end up in my closet. And by the way. If you think the guy with the beard…ehhhh…the bigger beard…looks familiar, you’re damn right. It’s Fredrik, our friend and Nikita-lover that we photographed right before we moved back to Hamburg.

Mishka Lookbook Fall 2010
New York based Mishka just released their new lookbook these days and still it is one of my favorite brands for guys on the market right now. Combining great t-shirt designs with a full range of other products, they manage to keep up a really strong brand image. Why? They put the right priority in their photo- as well as graphical-profile and then combining it with the right collabos and content. Looking forward to get some of the new stuff!

Stolen Girlfriends Club S2010
Since a while I’m following “Stolen Girlfriends Club” from New Zealand as a little stalker. I’m always waiting for updates. For me they represent the perfect combination between edgy, rough and well done products. In the new collections we see a lot of light layering, nude and pale colors. I love the blazer with the shoulder applications!
Urban Outfitters Fall Lookbook
I just love the “Urban Outfitters” aesthetic. It is always getting me and I feel the need to run to the next store. They transport the lifestyle of the target group in a way that nobody else is doing it. It makes me feel like I want to be part of those people on the picture. Great work. Sandqvist Bags
“Sandqvist” is a label based in Stockholm, Sweden which is designing bags. I love their clean designs. Two new designs are on the market and I think “Carl-Gustaf” will be my new swedish lover. Sorry Philipp! 
Monki’s World in August
How nice the “Monki Lookbook for August” is looking again. When I see such a nice lookbook, I don’t feel like “ooohhhh, bad fall is coming faster than I think”. It almost lets me look forward to it. I’m totaly in love with this look. Soft hanging stuff and a really good looking galaxy printed dress…
Best Behavior Preview SS 2011
I’m in love with stuff from denmark. When it comes to fashion it’s colourful, a mix of clean, northern classic and innovative cuts, but still extremly wearable like “Best Behavoir“.
Marie Ørberg and Malene Brøchner founded “Best Behavoir” in 2004 and since then been working on nice modern and innovative silhouettes. Have a look at the Lookbook AW 2010. When I see this nice shot preview of the SS2010 stuff, I’m really hoping to make it to the Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The American Apparel Thing
Those days you see the the new “American Apparel” pictures in every blog and it is time to pick up the discussion again. Philipp and I also had really wild talkings about the former campaigns. He really liked them and I really hate them. He likes it because of the look and attitude of the pictures and the strategy to build the brand. I hate them for the easy way of promoting something. It is so easy to provoke with their pictures. It is really too easy! Everyone can do that, just hold your ass into a camera and take a picture and write something with Helvetica. Sorry, for me, that does not work. Some people compare it to the “Vice-Picture” but for me, there is a huge different. Of course “Vice” is having the same asthetic feeling but they are not trying to sell anything and there is always a story behind the picutres. I’m happy to see that “American Apparel” is changing the look of the brand now! It is hooking me up and makes me wanna buy something. That’s kind of smart, because the stuff is kind of well-priced so they should pick up an older generation that can afford the stuff. The older generation perhaps don’t want see pussy and asses all the time and may be that generation likes the colourful nice and clean style. I’m starting to become a huge fan now!
Favorite Dress
I totally fell in love with this black and white dress. It is a “Minna Dress” that is a label from England and coming in AW2010. I LOVE IT!
Acne Pre-Autum Winter 2010
I have to say that I’m not really an “Acne-Lover“, but from time to time I fall in love with some items. This upcoming winter it could be that I’m in love with some things that they show in their “Pre-Autum Winter Lookbook 2010“. I love the hat and the jumpsuit and the contrast in the outfits. Soft fabrics next to warm and rough stuff. I love that you just see a bit of the gorgeous shoes under the long dresses. “Acne“
Monki Summer Styles 2010
Swedish “Monki” that belongs to “H&M” is coming with an update of their really cute “Spring Lookbook” from earlier this year. I still like the whole idea, the styling and the collection but I’m kind of disappointed. Normaly “Monki” always comes up with a new nice idea for each season. Kind of sad that they just updated the old one. But I think to top both the lookbook from spring and summer is a really hard job and perhaps needs to be prepard really well. We will see what they will come up with in autum. Until then, I will have a look at this really nice one.

Me and my little obsession for lookbooks. I think I like lookbooks that much because they represent the idea and vison of the designer in the strongest and most effective way. I love this lookboock of the “Keller Spring-Summer 2010 Collection“. Really beautiful pictures.

Favorite swedish cutie monster “Monki” shows its interpretation of spring in the sweatest way. Even Philipp said that this is really cute. So, now we know! Stripes, nude tones, pastell and nylon can’t be wrong this year. Thank you for this so nice and cute demonstration! We love you “Monki“. You are huge, but still kind of independent.
Carin Wester SS 2010
Miss swedish designer-queen “Carin Wester” is launching her SS210 those days. This time I have an eye on the shoes. They look like the “Opening Ceremony shoes“. Doesn’t matter to me, they both look nice and the clothes!? Clean and nice cuts like allways! She can’t do it wrong. I don’t think that’s possible.
Motel Lookbook
“Motel” is one of the brands I always have an eye on. They come up with new stuff really often, sometimes a few times a season. Maybe you know “Motel” from “Asos” or “Topshop“. The last months they get more and more popular in the states as well. I think that’s the reason why they produced such a nice lookbook. I hope it works! Cross the fingers for them!

Russian bears aka Mishka NYC
Well, there are not many labels that I find interesting over a longer period. Most just come up with strange stuff loosing their original spirit trying to find ways to make it in the business. Mishka though is a small label that appears to have found its niche. Check out their new collection at Monkeybizz. I still wonder why they haven’t found their way to Germany yet, or have they?

I don’t know what it is, but there is something that makes me stare at those two peaces of the pre-spring collection from “Horn van Bö“. The two designers Sara van Bö und Jörn Horn say something about understatement on their website. Yeah, may be that is what I like about those two items: Understatement with loads of small details.
Permanent Vacation SS 2010
Swedish invasion today, like always. The last lookbook of “Permanent Vacation” last summer was really everywhere to see. No blog without the romanic looking pictures of “Permanent Vacation“. This year they follow their line and come out with a high-quality lookbook but still in a romanic way. Last summer we met Emma Harling at a “Showroom evening” where she was presenting her stuff. A really nice person.
Saga Lova – A/W 2010 Video
The missing video of the “Saga Lova” photo exhibition. I really like it, because of the colors and the mood. Video lookbooks are a great way to show collections and I hope to see more in the future.

Pressday – Patouf
“Patouf” was showing the new collection for A/W 2010 – 2011 as well. I have to say that I saw the logo before but I didn’t see anything from the collections. Really wearable stuff. On the website they say: Creating feminine chic yet with a girly touch. That’s really on point. I also like the SS Collection 2010 that you find on the website.
Pressday – Ulrika Sandström
Today, “SpaltPr” opened the doors for a pressday with the new A/W 2010-2011 collections of “Saga Lova“, “Matilda Wenelboe“, “Patouf” and “Ulrika Sandström“. At the moment I have really a lot to do at work so that nearly couldn’t make it. Yeah but somehow I always find 5 minutes somewhere.
So work was calling and I had to hurry up. All the designers where inhouse and it was a nice atmosphere. It was sad that I didn’t have some more time to spend to ask “Ulrika Standström” some things about her collections. I was kind of surpised about it, but in a good why! I’m a huge fan of her and I like her feminine style. The new collection looks really London-Like with a schwedish edgy kind look. Clean cuts and great materials. I like and fell in love with a jumpsuite again. Later more about the other designers and some pictures.
Weekday SS 2010
Since the “Weekday Pressday” last summer I was waiting for the release day of the transparent shoes. Yesterday was the day as I found them in the Weekday Shop on Södermalm. Ok, it is still too cold but the day will come and then I will be the happiest person on the road. Even Philipp likes them and it’s not so often that he is up with something that is not a sneaker. I also like the transparent shirt and the fringe jacket. Looks a bit like the Acne fringe jacket just in a cheaper version.
Designers Remix Collection
“Stockholm Fashion Week by Berns” is starting and I’m post some danish Designer, that’s sooo buuuuh, I know. I really need to, because “Designers Remix Collection” do some nice work there. I don’t know which is the northern fashion captial. Some say Stockholm, some say Copenhagen. I would say: both are quite nice in their own way. So let’s go and see what Stockholm is offering this week.
Jeffrey Campbell Lookbook
“Jeffrey Campbell” is making my life not easy. While he is copying shoes like hell, he also produces really nice graphic stuff like the new lookbook. Say what you want and I’m also not sure how to handle “Jeffrey Campbell” but the lookbook is soooo my type. He knows how to make you love him and definitely which shoes to copy. What to change on a nice shoe so it is even nicer at the end. I mean, that’s also something
Best Behavior AW 2010
These days “Best Behavior” from Denmark came up with a sneak preview of their AW 2010 collection. It is full of bright colors and a lot of edgy cuts. The whole collection is totally what I like. I would love to wear the vest and the winter coat next winter. Looks cozy and warm, just what I need right now!
Cheap Monday 2010
The first stuff of “Cheap Monday” is out now. I do like a few things, some dresses and some the really grown-up-looking stuff. It’s no secret that I love “Cheap Monday” and “Weekday“, BUT it seems to be that I’m not the target group anymore. What happend to the new model!? Those two picture are, let’s say, ok. But have a look at the other pictures on the website. Sorry, I’m not 14 anymore I want some older models back and the next time I want to be the stylist. Arnsdorf 2010
Since a few months now, I’m having the first picture of the “Arnsdorf Lookbook” on my desktop. My desktop is a special place for all the really nice pictures and my favorite outfits. It’s one of my Top5! The color of the blouse and the high waist jeans in that color. Just perfect! The whole collection is really my type. I would wear every single item. I’m in love. May be my next trip will be to Australia
CTRL Lookbook SS2010
“CTRL” was a long time my favorite streetwear label from Scandinavia. The finnish Label changed a bit it’s face and turned from kind of dirty edgy-looking into really clean swedish-looking. I’m not so sure if I like it. But what I do like are the shoes on the secound picture. We will see if I gonna like it in summer when it is coming out. The dotted stuff and the shirt with this kind of heart thing could be interesting.
Whistles
Whenever I’m surfing at “Asos” which is really often those days because of the sale, I’m allways stopping at “Whistles“. I don’t know why because it isn’t really loud or really special. I just like it. Have a look at all other items that the really nice “Whistles website“.
Minimarket SS2010 Lookbook
I love nice colorful pictures. The Lookbook pictures for SS 2010 of “Minimarket” hit me. They are really the opposite of their clothings. The collections are always really straight and clean cuts. Everything is in one line. That fits perfectly with those wild curvy and blury photos! The the whole collections on the “Minimarket Website“.
