Last thursday we went to the Secret Wars Euro League between Hamburg and Cardiff at Waagenbau in Hamburg. Two teams, two walls and a bunch of markers. 2 jury-members with one vote each and one vote by the audience. Most votes win. Even though it was really hot outside, a lot of people came to see the battle and we had a really fun evening. I think the video speaks for itself.

As we were searching for the Armgartstrasse location for the exhibition last week, we ended up in the wrong one at first. A nice one though. We will use it for the next shooting.
Every year in summer Cleptomanicx, a skate brand from Hamburg is inviting to the Labskaus Citytour. At different locations all over the city of Hamburg small streetcontests are held. I was at the first Cleptomanicx Labskaus Citytour and it must be 9 or 10 years ago. Now I’m getting older and it is nice to see how many really young people are joining the event. Have a look at more pictures on the Cleptomanicx Blog.
We saw some beautiful and well produced dresses around the concept “Organisms” at the “AMD Hamburg Fashion Show“. BUT the organisation was terrible. No music, no light, ………….. waiting,………… Ok, next time, just do it better. Your students deserve it. We really liked the stuff that we saw!
Here come some moving pictures of the Labskaus-Pre-Party last saturday. If there wouldn’t have been so much beer involved, we would have had a more steady cam I guess. Next time.

This is one of the reasons we like living in Hamburg so much. A great outdoor party on a boat on a warm summer evening with a bunch of soulmates and listening and dancing to good music. Mad Max and Bruder Gal, boah it’s been a while since I saw you both on stage! Hands up! We all liked it!
This weekend is totally in a Hamburg blogger offline mode and we met all these nice people like Anna, Philipp, Katha & Marcel and Ksenia & Mario at a blogger meeting organized by Fashionline. After seeing the whole Harburg we saw all the other bloggers in Hamburg for the first time . See the list here. It was great to see everyone in real life. Time was running because we were supposed to be on a party-boat as well.
At the “A+ Fashionshow” all the fashion design students of HAW Hamburg showed their stuff around different themes in a really nice location in Hamburg. We liked some of the stuff and it was nice to see that New Face Nina was in the show. We spent some good time with Katha, Anna and gueststar Philipp. It’s allways fun to spend some time with you …..
Every year the “HAW Hamburg” shows what the students have produced in a final exibition. We saw some really talented people and I was impressed by all the creative work. If you are in Hamburg, make sure that you don’t miss it. Today the fashion design students show their stuff as well. The show details are on the website.
Ok ok, it was Nas and Damian Marley but Nas was my first love… Our love was a bit, let’s say colder the last couple of years since he missed showing up at the Splash Festival a few years ago. So I thought our love is over until he came up with his new album with Damian Marley that Philipp is always listening to. So we joined the nice concert yesterday! NAS I LOVE YOU!
You might think we complain about the heat. But no, we actually love these temperatures. You just have to arrange your moves according to them which isn’t very easy if you just moved and have to organize and carry a lot of stuff. Thank *** we got a fridge with lots of Alsterwasser in it!

Just before we left Stockholm I met up with Fredrik, who often gave Nikita a home together with his girlfriend, to take some photos in the bright morning sun. If you’re from Sweden you might know him from this Ramlösa tv-spot. And hey, Nikita misses Chans!

I finally managed to get my good old friend Dako in front of the camera. With Out For Fame, he still keeps doing his stuff organizing the concerts with people you’ve always wanted to see as a mid-nineties rap-head.

We had a great and productive day with the really talented and beautiful “Nina Carlsson“, New Face at “anc.model management“. We wish you all the best and we are sure to see more of you in the next time!

Now we have been in Hamburg a few days and yesterday we went to our first concert in quite a while, Dead Prez at Waagenbau. The place was crowded and the crowd crazy as hell. It felt a bit like standing in a finish sauna with sweat dripping from the roof. It’s bigger than…

I met Fabriona in the subway on my way home from a shooting. It took a while, but we made it just before we left Stockholm. We all really had no time but we wanted to do something so we did a really quick one. Anyway, I like the result of it!
PS: Yes, we can also blog something else than photos but that’s just the way it is right now.
Yes, it’s true. With one smiling and one crying eye we have to annouce that we are moving back to Hamburg today! We had a really good time here in Stockholm. It was such a pleasure to work for such a global player like H&M and a honor to visit an amazing school like Berghs. Dear friends, colleagues and partners, we’d like to thank all of you for making this a great time here. It was great to meet you guys and we hope to see some of your faces again! It was not an easy decision but our feet still remember how cold it was during winter. We also wanna be there for our friends in hours were we are needed. We are taking some gorgeous memories with us! Thank you for this Stockholm. We will see you soon!
Part II of Isabelle’s shooting. We hope you like the pictures we do. Remember, we are looking for people who want to join us in front of the camera. Don’t be shy!
Yesterday we had the pleasure to take some really nice photos with Isabelle. I stopped her on my way home a few days ago and asked her spontaneous if she wants to join us. She is from Tirol, is half swedish and has been living in Stockholm since 1 1/2 year ago. She was so brave while jumping in the water without saying how cold it is. HUT AB!

Not really, but my sister dropped in to pick up some clothes so we took the opportunity to take some photos of her. The dogs had to stay put and chill in the kitchen. Remember our “models wanted” post from a few weeks ago? A few did get in touch with us, but of course we are always interested in getting to know more of y’all.

Someone recently asked when I would put up a wishlist, so here we go. Since I am really a big fan of different t-shirts and besides some zippers, that is all that you’ll find in my closet, “Karmaloop” is always a good place to look. These tees by Dissizit, Dope Couture, Obey etc are my choice.

On sunday Nike hosted the Stockholm Soccer Tournament for creatives at Zinkensdamm on Söder. The weather was great and good music, beer and burgers made it to a smooth end of the week. (At least for us sitting in our comfortable chairs in opposite to those playing on the field. ) In between, interviews were held like in this case with the founder and creative director of Wood Wood, Karl-Oskar Olsen. Thank you Nike and foremost Martin for a nice afternoon.
The Teams:
Kingsize FC / Nitty Gritty / Sneakersnstuff / Kåken / Beckmans Dribblingsskola / Nöjesguiden / Caliroots FC / Gallery Steinsland Berliner / Wood Wood Soccer Club / Trés Bien Shop / Tessinparken / Vice FC

After picking up my diploma at Berghs SoC including the the last dinner with my fellow students, we met up with Rahel and Eric at Galleri Kleerup to see the Delta Exhibition. Funny how history can bring people back together again. Rap verbindet! Ne Anna!? Cold beer and great graphics before we went on to Strand for a few more. Always fun to see how different clubnights can be. Or have you ever seen people play ping-pong aka “Rundlauf” in a club? Still have to smile when I think about it…

ps. Sind wir nicht alle ein bisschen Rap?
Rahel from Rahelitasway and her boyfriend Eric are in town so we went for some shopping on Södermalm. We started in a sneaker store and after diggin through vintage-stuff at Beyond Retro and Stockholms Stadsmission, where I found this crazy white pullover by O’neal, we headed to our neighbour Tarek and his one and only Monkeybizz. Of course we found some really nice t-shirts there. More later… Now it’s time to catch some sun before the rain hits us hard next week.

Yesterday it was time for some sneaker-swapping at Nalen in Stockholm. A great initiative of Caliroots to get some rotation in this game and mix up the professionals with all the addicts and lovers. Great stuff all the way and really hard to resist!
We were out having a few beers at Caliroots. Shitxfaced launched a new colorway of their decks and celebrated it with a photo-exhibition with photos of Fredrik Skogkvist following the crew for 24 hours. Thanks for a nice evening and a slight hangover!

One of the nicest stores in Hamburg “Yeahboy” is coming with a secret event on the 22.05.2010 with a unique secret location. So better don’t miss it! All you need to do is to register yourself on the “www.hustle4society.com“. Have fun! We would definitely go if we could!
We are planning a few photo-projects the next weeks and months and are searching for you and your friends for being our models. It’s nice if you have modelsizes but it is definitely not a must. We are looking into different kind of people, faces and bodytypes. Age doesn’t matter. If you are a make-up artist or stylist, feel free to write as well. All you need is to be in Hamburg or Stockholm the next weeks. We can’t pay you, but we sure can offer you a great time and the pictures that we shoot. If that sounds interesting, you are more than welcome to send us a few pictures of you and maybe some words about who you are. If you know someone who fits, send her/him this link. We hope for tons of photos from you guys. Send all your stuff to weare (a) youneak.de and we get back pretty soon.
If someone asked me, what the most important german street- and skateboard-label is at the moment, I would definitely say “Cleptomanicx” from Hamburg. Of course we dropped in at their showroom to have a look at their upcoming stuff during our stay in Hamburg. No need to say that we, as people from Hamburg, love their stuff. Especially the Hamburg illustration, that will come as a ladies and guy version. Funny how a brand can connect people. During our stay in California we met a girl wearing a seagull-tee as we passed by with our toast- and lemon-towel, that all three are synonymous with the brand. It was totally natural to exchange a “Moin, Moin!”. “Cleptomanicx” made the world a bit more connected and local. Not just in the matter of geography, but everything else that “Cleptomanicx” stands for.
I can’t really say how many beers and jägermeisters were involved in this evening, but what I can say is: If you would see all the pictures you would recognize that everyone makes the same face over and over again.
